Scott Cleere
Scott's practice focuses primarily on the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications and the management and development of patent and trademark portfolios. He advises clients on patent matters, including patentability, invalidity, infringement, freedom to operate, and licensing. He also counsels clients on trademark matters including mark availability, freedom to use, infringement, and licensing. Scott also represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposition and cancellation proceedings. He also counsels clients on trade secret protection and with copyright registrations and infringement.
Scott started his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Karen L. Lansing of the Idaho Court of Appeals. Since then, he has been specializing in intellectual property law in private practice and as in-house counsel.
